The Tippecanoe River
The Tippecanoe River is Indiana’s most scenic and beautiful river with plenty of wildlife, gentle rapids and wooded forests. Stop off along the shore or pull up on our many river islands to enjoy a meal on the river. Make sure to look for turtles sun bathing on logs or bald eagles high up in the white topped sycamore trees or blue herons gliding along the water as they scan the waters for a surfacing fish. This wildlife and more can be frequently sighted along our stretch of the Tippecanoe River.
The river flow is pretty mild and you will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy all the beautiful wildlife and scenery around you. The river is plenty wide so theres never a tree blocking your passage like you might find on a creek. You will cruise through winding river bends that we call horseshoe bends. You will also float on by our friendly river communities spotted along the river and see the occasional river boat out for a cruise.
Once you arrive back at Ray’s Canoes & Kayaks, we will help you off the river where your car will be waiting for you. Come out and enjoy the river, it’s beautiful out here.
